I am the Media Specialist at Center Grove Middle School Central. This is my first year as the library media professional in this building.  I have been working in this school system since 1987.  I manage all operations for the media center which includes evaluating, purchasing, and maintaining the print and non-print collections.  I also coordinate the use of AV equipment and laptop carts for the building.   I serve as the technical advisor for the television productions of the  daily morning announcemnts ( CGTV ) here at Center Grove as well.  
 

My outside interests include reading, websurfing, and home improvement projects.  I have a real passion for my church activities which include working with teens and mission projects.  In regards to my mission work, I have been to Poland 8 times in the past 6 years to work in the schools and community there to help teach english. I was in Thailand during the summer of 2007 helping to teach some video workshops for a Christian production company. Most recently, I made a follow up trip this past summer to New Orleans to help with ongoing post-Katrina clean up projects and community outreach activities.
